Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment, surrounded by family from day one. We follow the Puppy Culture and BAB curriculum to ensure our puppies have the best start in life. Early socialization is a cornerstone of our program; we expose puppies to a variety of sights, sounds, and experiences to build their confidence. Litter box and crate training begin as soon as they become mobile, making outdoor potty training easier for new owners.

Every breeding dog is a cherished member of our family. Unlike many breeders, we do not rehome our dogs after they’ve had a certain number of litters. Through our Guardian Home Program, we ensure all our dogs live as beloved pets while maintaining a healthy, responsible breeding program. Our goal is to produce Cavaliers that are not only healthy and low-shedding but also well-adjusted for companionship, service, and therapy work. We take great care to match each puppy with the perfect family and remain committed to our puppies long after they leave our care. We provide lifetime breeder support to answer any questions and ensure both you and your Cavalier have a wonderful journey together.

Our Approach

We proudly follow the Puppy Culture and BAB Curriculum, two highly respected programs designed to give puppies the best start in life. These methods focus on early neurological stimulation, socialization, and positive experiences that foster resilience, adaptability, and a calm temperament. Our hands-on approach ensures that every puppy is ready to face the world with confidence.

We also prioritize practical training early in the puppies’ lives. Litter box and crate training begin as soon as they become mobile, making the transition to outdoor potty training much easier for new families. By introducing these basics early, we set our puppies up for success in their future homes.

Thank you for choosing Cavaliers of Healdsburg—where every puppy starts their life as part of our family!

Cavaliers of Healdsburg is more than just a breeding program—it’s a family passion. Every member of our family plays a role in raising and caring for our dogs, sharing the same love and dedication to their well-being. Each dog we care for is treated like a member of our family, receiving the same affection and attention as our personal pets.

Unlike many breeders, we never rehome our breeding dogs once they’ve finished their time in our program. Instead, our Guardian Home Program allows our dogs to live as cherished pets in loving homes while still contributing to our mission of producing exceptional Cavaliers. This ensures every dog, whether a puppy or a parent, enjoys a happy and fulfilling life.

Our Goal

Our ultimate goal is to produce Cavaliers that excel in health, temperament, and adaptability. We strive to raise dogs that are:

  • Loving companions for families and individuals.
  • Service dogs who bring assistance and support to those in need.
  • Therapy dogs that provide comfort and joy in various settings.

By focusing on health, we prioritize the longevity and well-being of our puppies, ensuring they bring years of happiness to their families. We take extra steps to ensure all our puppies are well-socialized and ready to integrate seamlessly into home environments.

Lifetime Support

Our commitment to our puppies doesn’t end when they leave our care. We offer lifetime support to every new puppy parent, providing guidance and answers to any questions you may have. Whether it’s advice on training, health, or care, we are always here to help. We view each family who adopts from us as part of the Cavaliers of Healdsburg family, and we take pride in supporting you every step of the way.

At Cavaliers of Healdsburg, our approach, passion, and dedication combine to raise exceptional Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. From the moment they’re born to long after they’ve joined their new families, our goal is to create a lifetime of joy for every puppy and their owner.
